One can only hope the 2 & 3 period will prove to be better periods for the Gophers....
Definitely need to change their game around...

DU looked about as good in that period as I've seen them all year. They had that little extra jump.

Not quite true. MN looked okay until they scored. After that, it's been a giant brickfest with bad turnovers and terrible defensive zone coverage. Not taking the third guy on a backcheck in a 3-on-3 situation and standing around like mannequins after losing a defensive zone face-off is about as bad as it gets.
