So, how many times will the broadcasters say that there are two BIG teams playing against each other?

North Dakota is going to destroy whichever team wins this game. These teams look like crap.

Stressful game after one that was not so much. Pretty much on edge the entire time- it was an interesting chess match between Jackson and Red- Michigan started out with the control, so ND makes an adjustment and they dominate much of the game. So a couple of adjustments by Michigan to even the play. Risky to let the game keep going up and down like that, but it is Michigan's style.

Bear in mind that Michigan just hasn't played great teams this season. Notre Dame is arguably the best team they've played all season (they also split with BU). North Dakota is going to be BY FAR the best team Michigan has seen this season. We're not in the big 10 anymore Dorothy.

Bear in mind Michigan typically gets a PP opportunity and they did not get one during this game. Michigan is 20-3-2 when scoring a PP goal and they have the highest conversion rate of any team in the country on PP (31.76%), including 3 PP goals in each of its last five games.

Michigan would have 18 National Championships if that were the case. ;)

This is the best tournament because seeds mean jack **** and one shot can change the world. It is also the worst tournament because the best team doesn't always win it and one fluky bounce or a waved off goal can ruin your next several years.

I'm still not over that 2011 title game and it's been half a decade.

I don't know about 9 out of 10, but maybe 6 or 7 out of 10. That was one of the better North Dakota teams in the last ten years.

That being said, tomorrow should be a good game. Michigan matches up well with North Dakota. U of M has the best top line in all of college hockey, and great top lines have given North Dakota fits this season. I'm sure UND paid close attention to how Notre Dame limited the CCM line, and hopefully they are able to do the same tomorrow. If the CBS line can outplay the CCM line, North Dakota should win. If not, Michigan will have an excellent chance at advancing.

I hope UND can overcome Michigan's amazing 2-4th lines, incredible defense and all-world goaltending tomorrow.
