Middlebury at Williams, Tues, Feb 9 at 7PM

Re: Middlebury at Williams, Tues, Feb 9 at 7PM

Does anyone know whether Middlebury will be webcasting this game and, if so, what the URL us???

I don't think that Williams would allow Midd to stream if they are doing it. So who do you like in this big match up.

I am beginning to think that your name should be taken literally. There is no should have and there is no luck. Teams earn their results.

Stronger goaltending? Purdy has let in one goal in his last two starts against Colby and Norwich.

This is a test for both teams, as is each game in this league. I just wish you could look at things a little more objectively at times. Why do you have such a distaste for certain teams?

Perhaps my english is not correct, when I said Middlebury Goaltending was stronger I meant compared to what it was earlier in the year not compared to Purdy. My username is actually quite the opposite of my background. I have nothing against Williams, when's the last time they won anything in the conference? They have vitually all of the advantages and dominate in other sports. Facts can be pesky things

yeah, I can't really argue with that. I definitely think this is a huge game for the Williams program as a whole, even though Midd may be down this year they are still Midd and have dominated the NESCAC for so long. A Williams win would establish them as the team to beat in the league and put them on track for the regular season title.

I have no idea how the NCAA selection committee works but I'd think a win here and a strong finish to the regular season would put Williams in pretty good shape to get an at-large bid should they falter in the conference tournament.

Dear announcer guy:

it is called the neutral zone, not the "neutral ice area".

Thanks,

An annoyed Williams fan

So pay the $6 or $10 and watch/listen to your own teams... I think the dudes done just fine, and I've heard several announcers call it the "neutral ice area", and as a matter of fact if you read the USA Hockey reffing handbook they actually reference the "neutral ice area" a few times...
