mid season transfers

Re: mid season transfers

UST Div 1 Transfer

F Tyler Gubb Michigan Tech (WCHA) 6'1", 215 Markham, Ont. 3gp, (0-0-0), 2pim

Re: mid season transfers

so does Lawrence have their new D1 netminder btwn the pipes today??
They had him and he is good. When I was watching him I was thinking of Henrik Lundqvist. He plays that prototypical Swedish style withe the low wide stance and the compact movements. He will give Oswego some trouble if they don't take his eyes away and get him moving.

Re: mid season transfers

Well he is here and will be ready to go for the NSB Tournament, I will tell you one thing he is big. Derek will release his name at an appropriate time;);););)

CROSBYNU63 when is the last time Norwich picked up a D1 transfer at mid-season because it seems like it has been a long time. But all the mid-year additions have been very good payers like Rick Cleaver for an example. Norwich should be all set on defense and goal next year.

If you would have read my post from before hawk you would know that the player coming in is NOT a D1 transfer.

Charlie can correct me if I'm wrong but one of the only transfers from another school I can recall is the Cote kid from MCLA.

Prez I go way back and recall that Ed Boudreau (Maine) and Tim Kyrkostas (Iona) came from D1 but there could be others. I also noticed that the official roster had a high school player from St. Albans listed, Michael Schreiner. I cann't recall him playing during the first semester. I realize the new guy is a Junior A player.

Schreiner also played on the football team and was added after the season was over. He has not dressed in a game yet.
