I dunno; I think this thing needs a pro wrestler, a rapper, a baseball celebrity who did one semester at one of the schools, a barely intelligible ex-CFB coach and a 3-ring circus leader.
Or dress up like gene Simmons ?

7-0 UM on Friday, 4-3 UM on Saturday.
I saw the Friday game on TV and was in Columbus for the Saturday game. MSU is playing better and the team effort level was a little higher. A couple of the players actually looked pretty good! (MacEachern, in particular, had a very good weekend.)
At the very least, I no longer think a 29-loss season is a possibility.
But we're still getting crushed this weekend. Even if we had six healthy defensemen, UM is a matchup nightmare.

Maybe a dumb question, but is the game on BTN tomorrow at 5 live or a repeat of Friday night?
Winner of the game at the Joe. So a team could win 3 of the 4 conference games but not win the trophy.
Well, that was unexpected.
I didn't want to prove the 3 of 4 wins and no trophy thing, but now with yesterday's result, I guess I do.
MI drops a few more unexpected games and I could see a potential stranger outcome; MN wins the B1G but doesn't make the tourney thanks to horrible NC record.

It's games like that why I don't understand your team's struggles. It looked like we were going to dominate at the start, but once you guys had some offensive time, the game totally changed.
Our D was as expected- 3 goals one way or another.
And our O moved a lot, but your D stifled us.
Having had a few seasons where the team shows that kind of potential only to lay down at other times, that would drive me nuts. And having a different football team struggle badly, lose bad games, but finish the season with good wins, you may be losing your window to change coaches. Idaho ended up keeping their very losing coach.
Well, that was unexpected.
I could be wrong, but lately I have been surprised by the lack of nastiness in this rivalry. Last night there wasn't much "after the whistle stupidity". A sold out arena, playing for a trophy, and a close, intense game would seem to breed some nastiness. I didn't really see much. Of course MSU couldn't afford to take penalties, so maybe they were being disciplined.
