One thing I am happy to see is Tech playing with emotion again. It would have been easy to roll over and die after the 0-14-1 stretch. The team chose not to, and is clearly upset and showing it on the ice. That, strange as this is going to sound coming from me, I credit to Jamie. If he can harness this anger and coax a decent end of the season out of this team, he should be back.

Who do you think the WCHA champ would rather play in the postseason, a team that has waved the white flag or a team that is sick and farking tired of being the league laughingstock and has a chip on its shoulder?

Gwilliam has one heck of a porn 'stache going on, and Kivisto (? I think that's him right above the trophy, am I right?) looks straight out of the 70's.

I was just about to say that Kivisto has a total "70s porno" look going on. Seriously, he looks like Scotty Owens Jr.

With this weekend Total Season Threads now equal Total Wins. So keep posting maybe if we knock off 6 more season threads in the next 4 weeks we'll get 6 more wins. :p

We ran into Pietila and Kivisto and I called him out on a child molester 'stache and told him to shave it but he said never.

It is fantastic seeing how that every hotel is booked within 50 miles of that place in June.

If you guys didn't have Carny going on I would have brought 70 plus too.

Umm... so did anyone realize that we are playing the BSU Beavers for 2011 Winter Carnival? Sounds.. disappointing, but that is so. Why didn't I hear about this until now?

I am piecing together our schedule right now from what is out there, to post soon.

Odd to be getting schedule rumors this early, though I know BSU has posted theirs well in advance.

Notes:
Not sure if the Superior Showcase will continue officially in name but it seems the format will continue but without a day in between games for this year.
GLI is most likely those days 95% sure.
BSU is WC
SCSU/UND 2 at home only
UMD/UW/UMN 4 Times (I believe this is correct)
Jamie is trying to change a potential Home/Away Christmas break series again.

Still trying to figure out this new travel format with the two additional teams.

I think it's the second year of the two-year renewal agreement, and there wasn't a day between the games when we played @ NMU and @ LSSU back in 2008. I believe that LSSU has requested the day in-between the two times we've hosted, because they leave Duluth for the four-hour trip back to Houghton right after their game at the DECC and don't get in until 3 AM. Or something like that.
