A video of C's and a really badass goal he scored for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins:

I think this was rather recently... Maybe it helped in him getting called up yesterday.

We could sure use another Chris Conner on this current Tech hockey team... :( GOD! Those were the days when we LIKED being on the pk because there was a good chance we'd get a goal out of it...

Re: The Collection

You know what you really need is some pucks to add to your collection... ;)

I've thought about it a couple times. The only thing that has stopped me is lack of a nice place to display them. I'm sure at some point I'll break down and get a pile of them to add to the collection. Back in the day before composite sticks were the rage, collecting sticks was easy. I crafted the two tables below in the Wads wood shop (not sure if that is still there).

"I hand crafted these rather unique table tops from game used sticks. The table were constructed by first taking a rough cut on both ends of each stick to get an approximate length. They were then attached to a sheet of 1/4" plywood with construction adhesive. (About 25% of the sticks, including all of the sticks used for the outer framing, were used by MTU players during their college playing days.)
The pucks, including two that were game used during the 1995-96 and 1997-98 seasons, were inlaid with a 3" hole saw. After the adhesive was allowed to cure for several days, the edges of the table were cut sqaure to their final dimensions. At this point the outer framing was attached with sheet rock screws and the intire table was sealed with a single coat of varnish, which was approximately 3/8" thick after drying."

End Table and Coffee Table

Do you know if anyone has Murphy's?

If my records are correct Colin has it because they stopped using those jerseys the year he graduated. Tech usually gives the Seniors their jerseys from the set that is being replaced.

The power of Satan compels you! Buy buy buy! You even get a nice display case with each puck. There are plenty of places to put them.

That Conner looked pretty good. Why didn't Tech recruit him, he's from Michigan isn't he.

Re: The Collection

They probably only called him up since Guerin was injured. I would guess Guerin will play in the next game and therefore Conner isn't needed.

This.

Though, two goals in one game (even assisted by Crosjesus) would up his trade value (hint hint Wild :D)
