Re: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread
Otherwise, my secret dream is to see a new Seattle Millionaires
The main investor of the Chicago Wolves has DEEP pockets, and is NHL Friendly (they like him and his money, unlike MLB who told him to pound sand when he wanted to buy the Cubs). There has been a lot of smoke regarding an expansion/relocated franchise in Seattle. It's just hinging on securing a new arena.
In the "engineer wants to know category..." what happens with the Pre-2000s Winnipeg Jets records? Do they revert to the "New" Jets or do they stay with the current franchise? For example does Teemu Selanne hold the single season goal scoring record for "New Jets" or Phoenix/"Old Jets"

If/when the Phoenix Coyotes move to Wherever, Quebec; they will still hold the PHX and WPG1.0 records. Unless the Coyotes are folded, and an expansion franchise is awarded. Then, the Jets 1.0 records are documented in history and that's it.
