Board probably thinks you guys are spamming more than they are at this point. Just sayin'.

Re: Economics of Liechtenstein

If they sold beer at the games they'd make enough money to fix the cooling system. Just sayin'...
But if the cooling system worked properly, the beer would be colder and they could in theory sell more (if it were allowed). What came first the chicken or the egg?

Bow chicka bow wow :p
Or as we say in WI... "Old MacDonald had a farm, with a little 'Brown Chicken, Brown Cow'..."

Re: Economics of Liechtenstein

CHF is Swiss Francs, which is evidently the currency used in Liechtenstein. They don't use the Euro. Supposedly their capitalist policies are a heck of a lot better than the USA.
And they have the highest GDP/Capita in the world. Combine that with the scenery of living in the middle of the Alps, and it probably would be a **** fine place to live.

Living there is much like living in Monaco. I think the same people live in both states just different seasons of the year.
One thing you can't do is leave your step ladder outside.

What exactly are the rules about alcohol sales? I've heard lots of things but never found a rule except on the local campus.

MacInnes is school property. Officially that means no booze, and therefore no booze sales. And you know what? It should stay that way. Not because I'm morally opposed to drinking (Haha! :D), but I just don't want the type of people who only show up because beer is served.

How is that true when I've purchased beer from the SDC and drank it while watching a game at MacInnes before? It was even KBC :)

Re: Economics of Liechtenstein

An "unofficial" exception can always be made for those wealthy types in the suites. :p
I'm pretty sure there is nothing official that says alcohol cannot be served at campus events. I'm not saying its a bad idea to not do it...just saying I'm pretty sure there is no official rule that prevents them from doing it.

Re: Economics of Liechtenstein

There is a boatload of booze in the MUB for wedding receptions, etc. I used to have to mop it up (sometimes recycled) on the night shift.
..............offseason.................

The Wads kitchen was rumored to have a liquor locker for the same purpose.

Cam has a new job.
"Ellsworth joins UMass Lowell fresh off back-to-back winning seasons at Sioux City."
That's awesome! Great move for Cam. I'd love to see him back in Houghton at some point but UMass-Lowell is a great place to get some D1 experience as an assistant and take the next step from USHL Assistant.
