Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

Yeah last time I had to go into town it was, i think i'd hear if it closed

I think the real reason all them big city schools left the WCHA was their fear off losing to Mel. They can go be all fancy together on MSNBC or somethin, Tech and Northern together at last! UP POWER!!!!!!1

good to know thanks................we just need lssu in our confrence and then there will be great hockey in the up again /////

I don't know who you are but I would simply ask politely once, if you would please stop it. It's offensive and useless. reminds me of hackers. How about going and hacking the nodak thread instead.

I've already started reporting them, again.

Good.
I notice that we continue to have boosters from other schools who are contacting recruits and getting away with it. Some of these people are in the east, some in the west, but I don't see how they can justify it.

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

So, how about the Economics of Liechtenstein? I think this is a matter that needs to be discussed at once.

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Two Years To Prove It Can Be Done

Why do I have to wait 60 seconds between reporting posts? How am I supposed to keep up?

What is the debt ceiling of Liechtenstein? Just curious.

Q: Why Western?
A: Andy Murray.

Wow, I did not see that coming. WMU might just get some NaCHo love yet.

I still think the most compelling reason for NaCHo to admit Western is that they realize that amongst them, someone is going to have a really bad year each year. Doormats are important (I just wish it wasn't us so often).

2. Huskies Teams Announce Ticket Kickoff
The Huskies are hosting their first-ever, community-wide Season Ticket Kickoff to get ready for an exciting year of athletics from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the SDC. Some activities include:

* purchasing tickets
* meeting players and coaches
* enjoying free food and beverages
* winning prizes--season tickets, Huskies gear, gift certificates and more
* bringing the family and playing games against your favorite Huskies

For hockey fans, the Kickoff includes the first-ever, Select-a-Seat event, where you can check out the view from a seat before you reserve it for the season. There are special, new ticket options for all sports, too. If you can't make it, reserve your seat by calling 487-2073.

Saw this in yesterday's Tech Today. The last part seems the most compelling. It looks like they may have decided to change up their archaic ticket practices.

Yeah, I see they now offer Friday only and Saturday only packages, as well as special family packages. These are the things that some of us, my included, have been saying that Tech should offer for years now. Was there a change in that part of the department, or are the changing times causing the people upstairs to rethink the policies?

Good question or was the idea spurred from tMEL?

Does anyone else get a blank splash page on http://www.michigantechhuskies.com ? or is it just me, also once in the site, it seems like there's a lot of broken image links....

Good ticket changes, but they still can't get a decent web developer.
