Not technically...The school isn't going to enforce a dress code on all the students, but they're eliminating all the hoboness which used to be connected to Homecoming because they're a bunch of candy-*** pansies. That said, I only did Homecoming stuff one year when I was a young, impressionable freshman as was the case with many other activities, and now that I've spent enough time at this joint, I have no desire to care about any of that stuff anymore. Hopefully next year they create mandatory work camps for students on academic probation and make everyone wear pink fuzzy slippers at all times

Oh, well, I guess I didn't really know all this about homecoming. I never participated in any homecoming stuff except for possibly going to one football game, the year they were actually good, so I was on the bandwagon.

I mean, who would not be impressed by seeing burned out and trashed cars in the lawns of frat houses for about a month afterwards.:rolleyes:

I'm almost sure this is the same reason I know this girl and her name, but I can't quite figure it out either.

Tanner Kero scored his first goal for the Rangers last night. It was an empty-netter to ice a 2-0 win over Texas at the NAHL showcase/tourney/thing in Blaine.

They pushed it back a couple of weeks this year. MacD or one of the Misfits could tell you more, but I'm pretty sure it's in mid-October now.

I see they had a game that started at 10:30 am today and one at 1:45 pm tomorrow...maybe I will try and take my lunch late tomorrow and attend.

Okay so the Homecoming Committee isn't responsible for the decisions, the Institution requested that the names be changed. In protest people should still continue dressing as hobos and carry signs such as the below.

Well, yeah. No surprise there.

I wonder if we could get Judy Syszyzkoskiwhatever to write a piece in support of this change. Something about Tech students acting classless by making fun of the underprivledged. ;) :rolleyes:

I remember doing the hobo parade. I borrowed a cow from a nearby farmer and towed it thru town. had a coat-hanger in one had and something to drink in the other. Was interview by Mrs Meese, which was extremely funny.

We had trouble getting the cow back in the back of the pickup afterward and he cut himself getting in. this was not received well by the farmer. Overall a fantastic time.
