The last time Tech won a game at the Concrete Center, gas was $1.09 a gallon, there was a big argument over the word "is," and we all still thought Hanson were girls.

Also, Tech blew a 4-1 lead at their biggest home weekend of the season to the farking SEAWOLVES.

Trap disarmed.

The last time Tech won the GLI, gas was $1.27 a gallon, an actor was president-elect, Led Zeppelin broke up, CERLA Superfund was enacted, and the rest of the Iran hostages were still stuck in Iran.

I enjoy all the discussion about how "OMG Michigan Tech hasn't won in ever here and that means they can't!" I thought it wasn't long ago that SCSU fans were arguing about the fact that the Huskies having won only one NCAA tournament game was in no way indicative that they'd choke this year. So which is it wise fans? Are past records a way of predicting future success or not?
