Nice job F2B&G! I definitely agree with your overall assessment of the team. We'll probably pull a couple surprises this season, but next year when Baker's a senior and Olson's a junior I think we might actually have a shot a being good. :cool:

Most notable players on waivers this morning are defensemen — Tampa’s Mike Lundin and Vancouver’s Brad Lukowich. Pittsburgh Penguins on waivers include Ryan Bayda, Paul Bissonnette, Chris Conner, Deryk Engelland and Nate Guenin. I only include them because of the Pens history with Chuck Fletcher and Todd Richards.

If no one claims him in 24 hours he goes to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

They just signed Ryan Bayda yesterday to I would think a one way contract. Strange that the would release him.

Tech got nine votes in the annual preseason WCHA coaches poll. For comparison, ninth place Anchorage got 20.

On the bright side, it is literally impossible to do any worse than the WCHA coaches predict.
