Michigan State @ Minnesota: 10/12 - 10/13

Re: Michigan State @ Minnesota: 10/12 - 10/13

Harley, sometimes I don't know if you are ok or not.:p;) Your jokes are really a stretch in this thread....

No worries...with the combination of a farmer like you with a stick up his *** and my Howard Stern candor...it's a wash buddy.:D;)

According to Lucia, two contrasting goalie styles will take the ice for the Gophers this weekend.

Lines may be tweeked a bit...but Lucia indicates they will remain relatively the same as last Sat. I'd like to see Ambroz and Haula reunited like in the good ol' USHL days. They were quite the dynamic scoring duo in Omaha.

I equate them with gnats. Good for absolutely nothing. They serve no purpose and are annoying as all h3LL. When you kill a gnat no one cares...

You and MGoBlow really should get a room. The slurping is getting kinda disgusting.

This is a thread for Michigan State and Minnesota. Inferiority complex, much?

Re: Michigan State @ Minnesota: 10/12 - 10/13

Being #1 makes me think every series, especially early, could be trap games. We should be good but how will it all come together when it starts to count in the records. Goalies often need to stand on their head to contain such a high powered offense, but it has happened. I'm very anxious to see the combinations on the ice and how well they work together. Also how Shiby and Wilcox stand up to a better challenge that may actually keep them awake for the entire game. :)

There's bound to be a reality check somewhere in the schedule, which can be a good thing for any talented team.

Especially after the ugly helmets big loss. But that's just because the refs screwed them and not enough fans were there to appreciate the wonder that is Yost.

jdubbs is having a smoke and cleaning up on the curtains. Doug Woog just got through remembering John Mariucci on gophers live pregame

Re: Michigan State @ Minnesota: 10/12 - 10/13

Not QUITE total domination, but dang....it's gonna be a fun season. And The Big Shibrowski looks good. That's a big comfort.

Re: Michigan State @ Minnesota: 10/12 - 10/13

The Gophers looked very good most of the game, only a couple of bad stretches of play. The Gophers kept coming in waves for the 1st and 2nd periods, nice to see the depth. Sparty will be ready tomorrow night though, I expect a good battle from them. It was 3-0 in the 1st, 1-0 in the 2nd and 1-1 in the 3rd if you break it down that way, Sparty got better and we probably scoreboard watched.

Should be a good game tomorrow night.

Well at least we got one...

I remember the series at Munn last year. The size difference was insane. It reminded me of Miracle where the Soviets are giants and the US is just average sized. I still have no idea how we won that series last year. Didn't get to watch the game tonight, but it sounds like size did make an impact tonight. I'm not confident for B1G Hockey next year now.

You and Pedo State will be fighting for the bottom bunk....
