OSU did a great job gumming up the middle during that Friday game. (Kind of what Wisconsin did during that Saturday game in Madison.)Shot selection is going to be something to watch on Saturday.
In the three games where MSU beat Ohio State this season, the Buckeyes blocked 14, 13, and 10 shots. The Spartans scored 6, 6, and 5 goals respectively.
In the game Ohio State won, they blocked 26. MSU managed only 2 goals.
It seems like we're a lot less lethal when we can't get to center and are forced to play on the edges.
