Michigan Hockey 22-23, new coach, new players, new era

World Class Troll
I don’t really see as that. A troll should at least have something clever to be harping on. Just saying that Michigan is like all other teams who had a coaching change is hardly clever or even trolling. It could not have been easy recruiting with the interim tag, but it appears that 24 will be a good class.

We will see, have to give Naurato a few seasons to settle in with the players.

Lowell fan here,

Can any Michigan fans give insight of Nick Granowicz and what type of player he is? He announced last night that he’s transferring to Lowell. Thanks in advance.

good player did not get to do anything with UM as they were catering to their 1-2 and out draft picks. This player can help and excel at Lowell.. Guess this is another Troll out look

It is kind of a troll outlook. They cater to their top draft picks because they're better than Granowicz. He played in 36 games this year and produced 4-6-10. That's not a guy you build your team around. He's a solid player for a checking line, but he's not going to be a 1st/2nd line guy. This is a good transfer for both parties. Granowicz gets a chance to maybe show some different skills and Michigan had some younger guys who can fill his role.

Thats how I would look at his play, too. Solid, reliable, but nothing that really stands out. Hope he works out, and hope the best for him.

As for his time vs the top players, this isn’t the mites, where everyone gets the same ice time, the coaches put the players out who they think are most likely to win. To put that in a bad light because some of those players may only stay a season or two just yells as jealously. Which is pretty normal for the Michigan haters.

Some very unsurprising news- CHN has reported in a tweet that Muckalt and Michigan have agreed to part. Given he didn't get the HC job with the seniority he has, it seemed to be very expected that he would leave.

It will be interesting to see how Naurato builds his coaching staff- one of the best D efforts we've put out for a long time was when we had a goalie coach who also covered some D play.

The other unsurprising news from CHN is Michigan's unprofessional use of "the portal" to poach players.

I stronly dislike being asked to renew season hockey tickets before the schedule is released. Not enough to not renew, but enough. I also dislike being asked to pay for B1G playoff tickets now, not knowing if we will host, having it be an interest free loan to Michigan Athletics. Last year it was enough for me to not buy them, then the hassle I went through trying to secure them when they went on sale to the general public....I gave the stupid athletic department their interest free loan.

*rabble rabble* get off my lawn!

So now the talk changes to does Anaheim want Fantilli now or after a year more aging?

So reading on the blog- someone over there pointed out that Anaheim has not signed two first rounders- one going back to college and the other to jrs. Maybe a chance that they won't bring him up immediately.
