In one year the Phillies BP went from best in baseball to seriously sucks.

Sox are playing a regualr season series in Philly next year! Since I'm in 08559, guess who's going to be up a whatever-hour of the morning of the first day the tix go on sale trying to scarf some? (All my Sox games usually have to be in Baltimore -- I refuse to go to the Evil Empire's den).

I'm doing an east coast trip next year, including Philly. I'd like to catch the Phillies, and Eagles while I'm there. Should be great. I've heard nothing but great things about CBP so I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person.

Very nice win for Miami tonight, But boy if they can put 3 periods together not sure there is anyone in the country that can beat them.

1st and 3rd periods were flat out ugly, Miami played well in the second and got 4 goals. UNH had more jump to them in the third but they tried to dangle to much and that stuff doesnt work on Miami's defensemen. For me UNH didn't do a good job at using their home ice. Miami seemed to dump and chase more and work the puck down low use the extra space to their advantage with their speed. Back up goaltender did play well for UNH and made some big saves. Reichard played well in the third too making some key saves, but Miami has yet to put 3 periods together.

Tomorrow should be a good one, I expect UNH to come out with a chip on their shoulder.

I thought the Sox played NL East this season???

I could be mistaken but the Phils may be designated as the Red Sox natural rival for the NL. They've played them for at least the last 3 years now that I know of.

Erin, dont give up on your PP yet. You just faced the best PK in the country. They have yet to allow a PP goal against all year and held St. Cloud to 0-10 last weekend with their high power offense.

No Erin is right, the UNH PP blows. It has consistently sucked for the past 2 years now. Playing against the number one PK only aggravates the situation.

Whoever was doing the "color" on TBS's Sox/Angels series was similarly hideous.

Example: in final game with the score tied, Pedro Guerrero is lifted for a pinch runner after a leadoff single in the 8th or 9th.

Color guy announces deadpan "He is a threat to steal here".

Swear I heard him say it.

Naw -- I just thought they wanted that power bat out of the lineup in case it went eleven or twelve innings

You're dating yourself... Pedro Gurerrero?

I think Buck Martinez did the color in at least the first 2 games and he's very good, he just has a bad voice... not sure if he did game 3 (?)
