GAC and St Catherine winners. Saturday I hope Cinderella can do it and make it to the Ball. Could be the D3 story of the year Believe in yourselves. The season is not over.
i don't think gustavus scores 5
Guess I was wrong! You know...its good that it happens once a year to keep me humble!! Go Kates!!!!
I love how everyone is so against Gustavus just because they win every year... I hope they dominate on Saturday just like they did tonight...
and I guess the wishful thinking paid off with the 5 goals
Here is another question for all the folks out there. How does a girl that half the season and make Honorable Mention All-Conference.
You edited this question and still doesn't make sense.
I think what your trying to ask is, "How does a girl who plays half the season still make HM-AC?"
Keys from St. Thomas? The coaches must have recognized her as being one of the better forwards in the league. Her numbers are solid for only playing in 15 games. She deserves it.
I picked Gustavus to win it...just didn't believe that Olaf would give up 5 goals. Gusties haven't been getting goals like they used to. I just think it would be cool to see someone else win. No one beside Gustavus has ever made the NCAA tourney from the MIAC. If Gustavus loses there is also a good shot they still get in
Absolutely agree. St. Kate's has been a TREMENDOUS story this season. Good luck to them in trying to finally knock off GAC and end their reign as conference tournament champs.
Say What??? Okay I'll bite. Let's have Kate's and Superior win in the west. Utica blasts Plattsburgh 12-0 and RIT beats Elmira 8-0 then loses to Utica with 4 of their players getting game misconducts for fighting. Bowdoin and Trinity slam the door on Amherst and Middlebury with Bowdoin crushing the Trinnete's in the final. Finally with no one watching, Mass-Boston cruises through the ECAC-East. Now you have the "GOOD STORY". And to finish it off the NC$$ goes right along and invites Salve Regina and Chatham to the "TREMENDOUS FINAL STORY". What a story, what a country, what a game.
Congradulations to the St. Catherine University Wildcats Women's Hockey team and coaching staff on their outstanding season. With only one graduating senior, will be looking forward to watching St. Kate's in coming seasons. A very class group staying on the ice after the Playoff Championship game while your opponent recevied their Trophy. Your example is outstanding and you displayed great sports(wo)menship. You should be very proud and others could follow your example.
Yea, that was a rip on St. Thomas. I was not at the UR River Falls/UW Superior game but if Superior did leave the ice before RF received the Playoff Championship trophy then I would suggest Superior and UST should be in the same boat.boy...I wonder who your referring to???
