Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

On the web bonus features, RJ Mitte (Walt Jr) pretty much tells us the ending, although after flubbing up and saying "when" he does try to cover himself and say "if"
I won't post the info here. If you really want it, you can find it.

Yeah, not gonna look. Actually hosting a BB Finale get-together, for the heck of it. Figure we spout theories beforehand, watch the show, and discuss afterwards. And of course, have a beer or two. :)

Among the people we see again on the show, the woman who plays Gretchen said she will be back for "the very end"

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Scuttlebutt is this is the episode where main characters start dying. My outside guess is Hank accidentally shoots Marie.

Tonight on Talking Bad they have Steven Michael Quezada (Agent Gomez) and Don Cheadle - as well as special guest Bryan Cranston.

Better than before the gunfight, I guess. *shrug*

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Who taught those Nazis how to shoot? Hannibal and Face? Hundreds of rounds expended in about 30 seconds and they didn't hit either one of them.

My prediction is Gomez dies, Hank is critically wounded and the Nazis take this opportunity to "hire" their new cook: Jesse Pinkman

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

I mean, I get that it's a point in the story with an ending: the second the neo-Nazis open fire, Walt has officially lost control.

But that's still such a tease of an ending point. Such a tease.

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Walt owes them a cook, in the Nazis' eyes. I THOUGHT I saw Gomez get hit in the lower right stomach, but unsure due to fast-cut editing.

Someone's gonna die, odds are on Hank, which would really set off Marie and her poison plan. Walt escapes somehow, duh. So either Hank AND Gomez die, or they flee, or they let Walt go. The first option is the most obvious, which means that probably won't happen. Second one.....unlikely, but possible, b/c the target is Jesse. That's the job the Nazis were hired to do. The third option? Over Hank's dead body. Literally.

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

You knew the gang was coming as soon as Hank told Marie he loved her and may not be home for a while. I have a feeling Hank is gone, but I don't think Walt and Jesse die in this shootout.

Edit: I know Walt doesnt' die in this shootout. Duh.

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

I think Hank is dead within 5 minutes of next week's opening. The neo-nazis then take Walt hostage to cook. He escapes, which leads us into the final two episodes. Jesse gets a bullet one way or another. They don't get their cook otherwise.

Which brings us back to my (and others') theory that Walt comes back to save Jesse. And then maybe Jesse kills Walt anyway. He was P*SSED when Hank put the cuffs on Walt.

Vince Gilligan's Fix: You will gaze upon Walt's works, and despair.

*the hell?*

Last week's was "Lydia learns about farm raised salmon."

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

The episode is called "Ozymandias", which refers to a poem about how great and terrible empires eventually fade into nothing.

Next week will be memorable.

Jesse is just as good as Walt at cooking. That tidbit may save Jesse's life, although being a prisoner for a bunch of Walter White Supremacists isn't much of a life.

Spoilers and questions follow:

Next episode Walt is revisited by the ghosts of those he has killed - Gus, Jane, Mike, Krazy-8, Tio etc - which could be a hallucination driven by dehydration after being stuck in the desert for days on end. After getting away from the Nazis?
There are two scenes in upcoming episodes that are known: Walt drives up to his house in an old truck with one barrel of money (and dirty clothes indicating he just dug it up) and tells Skyler and Junior to get packed because they have to leave post haste. Does Junior know about his parents at this point? Otherwise, why would he agree to pack and leave? The other scene is at a church, believed to be a funeral. A funeral for Hank? Gomez? Walt faking his own death? Jesse? Andrea makes a return, so it could be at Jesse's funeral. We also know that Gretchen comes back so there is more resolution to the Grey Matters thing and there is a cameo by Charlie Rose (possibly related to GM). The existence of these two known scenes really mucks up my theory for the ending.
