Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Mike took liberties to offer people Walt's money and then to set conditions on further income. He's also questioning Walt's decisions.

It's business. Which Walt agreed to let Mike handle. I know, I know, Walt will rationalize and change the deal. Just seems too obvious to me.

What was it that Walt said to Saul after Saul asked him "are you OK with that" after Mike said he's in charge of business? I'm going to have to go back and watch it again.

Walt said Mike would control the business, and Walt would control Mike.

Found it:

Saul: And you're OK with that?
Walt: Yes. He handles the business and I handle him.

From the beginning Walt knows he's the boss.

Well, yeah. The question is, how mad is Walt about the fees/etc that Mike has to pay out? Mad enough to eliminate Mike and try and take in Mike's contacts and change the price structure? Take on Jesse's friends as some sort of distribution (that roadie equipment scene is more important that it seems, I think)? Just roll with it?

I doubt he eliminates Mike, but I bet he figures out a way to improve distribution and cut out Mike's people and make more money. He'll improve the process, not start from scratch, IMO.

Hope he can eliminate the rats, then. If Mike says the word, his people will do exactly like he says (from what I've gotten).

He'll figure out a way to keep Mike in check. I'm thinking the granddaughter.

Could be. I don't think he knows about her, though. Dunno how he would. Maybe the girl from that Madrigal that Mike intimidated?

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

So maybe the one thing (family) that Walt tried to protect and provide for will turn against him, and his endeavor will be worthless. Skylar is just the first....

That Madrigal woman will die, but I bet she'll try and turn rat first. I'm guessing an unfortunate accident winkwink via Mike/one of his guys. And Skylar might end up in the same boat......

Edit: remember when I said Mike made a mistake about the Madrigal woman? Even Mike agrees with me! ;)

Stunning scene between Gunn and Cranston. Easily one of the best I've seen in a long, long time.

That was awkward, painful, intense, and awesome to watch.

Tick tick tick tick tick...interesting ending.

****s gonna hit the fan soon, me thinks.

Matched only by the horror on Jr.'s face when Skyler messed with his breakfast. (The last words heard by Skyler before she dies of ricin poisoning: "THAT'S THE L-L-LAST TIME YOU MESS WITH MY BACON, YOU B-B-B-B-*****!!!")

Seriously, though: talk about a scene in the life of an abusive household. Walt finally found a way to be a more abusive husband than that time he tried to rape her.

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Lydia is going to die, probably next episode, but I would not be surprised if she causes some **** before she's killed. They need to get their methylamine somehow though...

It is obvious that the something happens to the family, I'm leaning towards Walt killing Skylar, somehow. Probably by having it done.

Walt would get Mike (or have Mike get one of his guys) to do it. I don't think Walt is dumb enough to think he could pull off another killing that close to him and get away with it again, despite his arrogance.

Unless he uses that ricin he kept, and gets really lucky again.

That ricin is coming back again. There's a reason they showed him putting it in the outlet cover.

Also, both Marie and Hank would vouch that Skylar is suicidal, so if he makes it look like she killed herself, he'd get away with it pretty easily.

Good point on the suicidal. Hopefully they take Marie away with Skylar, though.
