Great cross ice pass by Abbott. Nice to see Van Dyk score. His hustle and great pass to Diamond created the power play.

Pretty funny to hear Larry criticizing Merrimack's performance. "You beat New Hampshire, you've taken 2 of 3 from BC, you should really have no trouble with Maine."

Sad, but true. Maine did some nice things, but I certainly didn't see a top 5 team in the country in that period.

Merrimack is shorthanded, right? Or they're choking. Or both.

I don't want to believe this Maine team had this in them. It would make the season even more of a failure.

According to Rachel Lenzi on Twitter Sully now has the second longest shutout streak in Maine history. Jimmy Howard has the record at 193:45....Sully passed Blair Allison's 147:53 this period.
