I'd say so. The freshmen, Marcinew, Butcher, Hawkinson all looked like they belong.

2 shutouts in 2 nights--only had 3 in his entire career at DU until this weekend. WOW!!!

Between periods they had some sort of competition between the chest painted guys and some ladies. Shooting rubber chickens. Anyway, the guys were all in. Not only bare chested. But wearing crimson boxer shorts. I'd imagine it was just a wee bit chilly for them down there. Nice to see that after only 45 years of students with chests painted, that DU has finally caught up. Another small step in the right direction. How long, do you suppose, before somebody decides they're "offended" by it?

Alaska next week. One of my favorite desinations. The wonderful fans. The aroma of rotting marine mammels. It ought to be fun. Way to go Pioneers.

If Sammy can return to that form from two years ago it would be a huge boost for a young team.
