I hate to agree with Jay, but DU needs that second goal. Do not want to fritter away this game. Butcher has had some good chances. Seems like he's got a nose for the net. Marotta has made some excellent saves. And DU got a break on that late Merrimack chance with Sammee out of position.

An entire period of Viva commentary hardly audible. That is just totally bush league.

Wonder if Viva gets extra credit in his Comminications class for doing color on hockey broadcasts?

Interesting, video feed during intermissions. I hope that keeps up all season. Am I imagining things, or have they sold more ad space on the boards?

Maybe only half credit, since nobody heard him. On the other hand, it's not his fault that they're embarrassingly unprofessional.

Students look great and lots of 'em are wearing DU gear. I've only seen one Boone however. I'll be there's more than one in attendance.

I'm thinking it's not a PioVision problem. I'm assuming he's using a headset mic. Jay may control the gain on both mics or (less likely) they may have somebody at the venue. But if somebody's way off mic it's up to the station or somebody to let him know.

Sammy really came up big with two saves in the 3rd: on the breakaway following the long "equipment break" and on a Merrimack penalty. Marrota was just as good. He stoned DU two or three times.

I'll take it. Man, I want to see some more goals.
