maybe Robert Morris SHOULD HAVE gotten an at large bid

Re: maybe Robert Morris SHOULD HAVE gotten an at large bid

Atlantic Hockey Conference*

As noted in the belts thread, they changed the name sometime in November. However, their own press release from four days ago says Atlantic Hockey Association, so they don't even know the name of their own league. For that reason, Robert Morris did not deserve an at-large.

Re: maybe Robert Morris SHOULD HAVE gotten an at large bid

Unfortunately a very good record in ATL doesn't get you very far. They played (6) NC games going 3-2-1, but the three wins came against two teams who ended the season in the pairwise at #33 & #54. Not counting RM who was #24 in the pairwise, six teams from ATL made up the last 13 spots of the pairwise, and the others were from #35 and worse. No way to pick up any brownie pts. here.

Playing in Atlanta sure won't get you far, you got that right.

Selection cmte needs to look at all these "none and done"
Conferences and curtail their bids.

Hea for example prolly should have sent umlolol and uhn in place of Mankato and UMTC.
Much more competitive tournament for all. Would have helped attendance too!

Need more eastern bias.

Get serious. That makes no sense. Like UML and UNH would be any more competitive. Maybe we should leave out Minnesota and BC too. I think it's great that there is now so much parity in college hockey.

Hee! Oh mookie you've gone and done it now.

Yup. Mookie's done it again. Good job.

Hockey East had such a down season this year.

Absolutely correct; UNH should be at the FF instead of PC.
