Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Any chance we could have Chara fire slapshots at his head until death and Marchand spear his jewels?

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

I'm torn: death penalty? He's dead, but appeals.

If prison? If it's gen-pop, I'm all for that. If not? Give him the death penalty. Why? Gen-pop would be a bit more painful. :D

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

No way he goes to gen-pop. If he doesn't get the needle, he's going to solitary at ADX Florence for the rest of his life.

I heard one of the only times he showed any emotion was when a witness was asked about death penalty and the witness said no, lock him in a closet for the rest of his life. He squirmed at that

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

One argument against the death penalty that I've heard (though I doubt the defense attorney will raise it) is that we don't want to make Fratricide into a martyr who could then be used to recruit others to commit jihad in revenge for his death.

Not sure if I buy that, the counter-argument would be that a swift and decisive penalty could serve as deterrent.

I just want him to suffer. Honestly, if I had my way? A .22 in EVERY joint in his body. Knuckles included. Let him heal. I'll help pay his medical expenses. Then do it again. Keep doing it until he dies or gives up and offs himself.

Considering he probably thinks there are 72 virgins waiting for him, death isn't much of a deterrent. Won't be a deterrent for others either. Whoever dreamt up that garbage is an evil genius.

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Treating it differently is just another way of recognizing it as a political statement.

The enemy of the fanatic is the mundane. Sentence him just like any comparable criminal.

Why is 72 virgins enticing, anyway? I'd prefer a baker's dozen of women who know what they're doing.

My thoughts exactly.

Woman, around 30-35, not a virgin....yeah, she could probably teach most men some things. ;) :D

yeah, after that first round of the old in-out, its going to take forever to teach em all to like doing things. And worst of all, you could end up with a bunch of them that are just cold fish. or when its their turn to do something with them, they would rather go do antiquing or something. 13 dirty girls from Vegas sounds like a whole lot more fun to me.

Women are useless until 30. Presumably men are useless until 35, if that.

Enough with the sexist and anti-Islamic microaggressions on this thread. How can you say women are useless until 30? Women make up a larger part of university and graduate students than men. You just can't handle a strong, modern woman.

You're asking religious fanatics to make sense? I'd imagine to a religious fanatic a virgin would be more desirable because she's untouched and more "clean" than other women.

Re: Marathon Killers Apprehended: the Aftermath

Why not locked in a isolated sound proof cell with Jack Edwards piped in 24/7? 'Tis a fate worse than death!

perhaps, unless the virgins are all like Mother Theresa at age 80, or are all virgin gay men, or something like that, eh?
