Maine @ RPI, 12/29/17 & 12/30/17

Re: Maine @ RPI, 12/29/17 & 12/30/17

Blueliners contributing heavily on Maine's first 4 goals. Nice slapper from Holway from just inside blueline... a laser. And perhaps even more impressive was Keeper step down in low by the face off circle and getting goalie down then wristing it up over the shoulder just under crossbar. Robbins then had a beauty of a break out short handed where he got goalie to go down and went high and wrang crossbar iron. I thought first period Rpi had better of the play, but fortunate to see Maine up by a goal. But in the second Maine outworked Rpi on the boards cycling to where at certain times it was 5 on 5 but they were possessing the puck as if it were a man advantage. Really impressive showing. Also, McGovern is having a great game, a couple grade A saves in the second. So far so good! GO BLUE!

McGovern played well both nights. Good to see him grab a couple wins. Wish they would have scored on last pp. Good way to end 2017. On to 2018.

Happy New Year folks

I love it when walrus is in a good mood! I think that I'll order some tickets to upcoming games at Alfond!

Tonight I was impressed with Keeper. He generated a lot of offense from the point. Had some good break outs, and some strong plays in his own end. Holway had a very strong game. Not sure if Hamilton was a hundred percent in the third. It seemed like after he blocked that shot he was more or less playing one handed. I didn't see where he took that puck, but I am guessing in the shoulder???

Of course they are...everything associated with UM/Orono/etc is so horrible in your pea brain. I mean are you really trying to expound on the virtues of 5 minute later sunsets and 2 degree winter temp differences in Troy, NY vs. Orono, ME? They both suck in the winter! I pity the fool that has to live with you if Maine starts winning games again!

Huh?

The winter days are shorter in Orono, I loved my time there, I've been a rabid Maine fan before you were soiling your pants (assuming that you don't still do that), and The Warden is happier when Maine is good, because I'm happier.

Dope.

So what is your point?.....dope?

That's amazing!

Tell you what, you ignore my posts as I've always ignored yours, and world peace is one step closer to reality.

Thanks!

I'm not ignoring posts that include commentary about the hockey program....but I will ignore your name calling & personal insults! Happy 2018!
