Doesn’t sound very encouraging: https://bangordailynews.com/2020/08/...-for-covid-19/ Whatever happens I hope they don’t cause a major outbreak in the Bangor area.
I never received an email, but I have nothing pertinent to add on the format.
Maine was 15th in the Pairwise when the season was cancelled, projected to qualify for the NCAA tournament.
So by now the team would have normally been skating everyday. Anyone know if this is happening? Or if the ice isnt even in at alfond?
You could yell at your wall...Anyhoo, everyone hates this format. Is there anyone to complain to?
You could yell at your wall...
Are all the guys even back? I think we have to start there. One of BU’s European players chose to stay home.
I thought of that.
But, seriously, if this lousy format remains, good luck USCHO.
So i heard all the team is in orono including freshmen.
There is no ice in at this time.
Nah, this covid crap is going to go on for years, life as we knew it is over and its a new game from now on. Society will adapt but it will take time.
The 1918 pandemic eventually died out after about 1.5 years with no vaccine, but not after killing about 675 thousand Americans.
Nest season?excited to see if the freshmen forwards are any good. .
At best, TV only, no fans? My guess, we have a REAL shutdown by Christmas that will make this last one seem minor.......
When is Maine going to act on Gendron's contract? Or have they done so already? Recruiting players with a head coach on the last year of his contract would be challenging in my opinion.
I doubt anyone is out recruiting with current situation going on.
