This is brutal :(

Sullivan should have stopped that one easy.
Then 2 bogus penalties on Diamond for goalie interference. Even the announcers said this for both.
And now Maine clears the puck... right into the ref's skate, leading to MSU's 2nd goal.
Argh.

Big kill. Maine isn't playing that badly - just kind of snakebitten.

One way or another, they get to leave CCHA refs behind, which is a victory of sorts. Give me Hockey East.

Yeah, but the goalie is part of the team. :/

Maine looks decent, I think. Not wonderful, not terrible.

MSU has done really well on the penalty kill tonight. Maine needs to break through on this one.

Yep. MSU goalie is a tough one to crack. Has Maine passing right in front of him

It feels like they can get NOTHING through to the net. Really good defense for MSU.

I'm sorry - I don't like to complain about refs.

But Diamond was taken down by the goalie and they call the penalty on Diamond for tripping/hooking or whatever?

We'll see if they can get anything going in the third, but man. This crap is aggravating.

Wow, Diamond can't catch a break.

After Palmisano got a break on his tripping noncall, he has to feel fortunate that Maine didn't absoutely wreck him at the end of the 2nd, in that footrace. :)
