Maine loses faceoff number 79 on the evening.

I was at last Saturdays game and Maine couldn't win a face-off to save their lives. Hopefully this isn't a trend...

7 power plays for The Bears and only 14 total shots in the game. Just not a lot of intensity. They did a little better in their own end that period. So, that's a plus. Do we have one period of intense hard-checking hockey in us tonight? Hope so!

Maine needs to get it done in the third... this series ha big pwr implications... North Dakota and Ferris State each played Merrimack and a sweep is critical to winning those two comparisons
