Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater
Ahh no. That's the biggest problem facing the state. The kids aren't coming back because nobody can survive on $15 an hour in this state and the 60-80K jobs are very few and far between....not that 60K is that much if you have a family. And I'm not leaving for Mass, RI, Conn, or NY. I'm going south where you don't get taxed to death, it's warm and there are jobs that pay enough to live a decent life. And cut the patience crap. In another 2 to 3 years you'll be the only one in the stands, so bring your patience sign and waive it with pride as Maine is working on it's 4th single digit win season in a row.
But you would be surprised how many people want to come back to vacationland after having spent time "out there". Traffic and overall congestion is getting to be obnoxious beyond the border. As long as there are few high paying jobs in Maine though I guess the flat landers will stay put.
Now back to Maine Hockey, key word ....patience
