Love u Wally.
The team sucks, I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Everybody says the recruits for next year are better but I'll believe that when I see it. You can't win if you can't score.

Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater

Well, that's how you really generate some enthusiasm for the team in your first home game that counts. What a dismal friggin' performance.

I'm almost starting to miss TIMMAY.

Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater

I hope getting back to more of a normal schedule helps, along with actually playing some games at home. For whatever reason Maine has actually done pretty well the last four or five years against BC and hopefully that continues next weekend. I saw Lowell play one game and wasn't overly impressed. I'm not sure how good UVM is this year. The truth for Maine is they probably aren't as good as they looked the first weekend or as bad as they have looked the last few games. I would say they wind up somewhere right around 12 wins.

I sure hope Lowell was able to impress you this weekend.

Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater

Will Maine score more goals this season than they have losses?

Discuss.

Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater

Why? Because they beat maine? Some how I don't think that helps your argument

If you read what he quoted the implication was that Lowell was not that impressive and that Maine should be able to take points from them (at least from my reading of it).

Yeah, but its maine, so how would anybody know?

Re: Maine Hockey: Summer 2015 on the Stillwater

Gendron mentioned after Friday's game in the press conference that Maine didn't hold anything back on Friday thinking they'd save their energy for today's home game. Clearly they're not as skilled as Lowell if they worked twice as hard and still came up short and had not enough energy left to keep up with a more efficient Lowell team for Sunday's game. Maine looked tired. At the end of Friday's post game press Conference Gendron ended it by saying "it's darkest before dawn." It doesn't get much darker than this...

It might be the worst team in the country. Maine should never be the worst team in the country. Ever.

The excuse making about not keeping up with the Jones in Hockey East is one thing, being the worst fricking team in America is inexcusable.

Nope. You're right behind Connecticut and ahead of Niagara, Northeastern, Army, Lake Superior, Colorado College, and American International in PWR so you haven't hit bottom yet.

Gotta love how the Lowell fans have come out of the woodwork.

relax wally... I was just pointing out what you meant.

of course, it is tempting to take some jabs.

Patience? Going to take more than that. I see little improvement in any of the players and thats what gets me. Its the same thing Timmay had going, a team full of grinders.
