Not to make excuses, but Jimmy has been injured a lot over the past couple of years. When he's been healthy (as in earlier this year ) he's still as quick as a cat. If he gets moved, I'd love to see him land in Buffalo

Jimmy for Buffalo's first round pick would be a fair trade :D

Detroit would take that in a heartbeat!

But Jimmy looked pretty d@mn good in relief tonight. And Bish looked good all game long.

This is what amounts to Maine's post-season anymore, but it's fun to watch.

Could happen...along with many other teams looking for help in goal next season.

Re: Maine Hockey 2014-15 Volume 2: Red's Revenge

Has anyone heard if they have finished off the Schedule for the upcoming Season? Last I knew they had 4 games to fill out of a 36 game slate.*(Hockey East Play 22 games - Ice Breaker 2 games - NJ Liberty Tourney 2 games - @ Union 2 games - Home/Away with Quinnipiac 2 games - Out of Conference with UNH @ Portland & Manchester 2 games).

Thanks...Home or Away? Colgate will have a very good team this coming season, this group has been together for good parts of three seasons. Looks solid for a out of Conference games.

I think 'Gate will be a tough out at home for just about anyone next year.

Good news is that I'll be at both games. It's a great little barn they have there.

College hockey inc says Maine has most commits in the USHL phase 2 draft. Maybe there is some hope, altho I think most of the studs go in the Phase 1 before they commit anyway

Re: Maine Hockey 2014-15 Volume 2: Red's Revenge

Eight players in all: Adam Dawe, Ethan Crossman (both recent 2017 verbal recruits), Lucas Michaud, Pat Shea, Alexis Binner, Pat Holoway, Jake Pappalardo, and Mitch Fossier.

Re: Maine Hockey 2014-15 Volume 2: Red's Revenge

All the recruits look good on paper. The question is are they gonna buy into Red's style and philosophy. If you take PC for an example those players weren't blue chippers but bought into the system and . yes having an awesome goalie didn't hurt. PC clearly had a formula, the kids bought in and........boom nat championship. The landscape of college hockey now lends any program can win the prize. Good goaltending a couple kids that can score and a belief in the system your playing for the trophy.
