It should be noted that Maine would no longer be slated to play at BU if they win tomorrow night. Right now they would play at BC.......if UMass Beats Notre Dame then they would play at Providence. Go Notre Dame!

Your 100% on the money. When the Defense realizes the man has to be separated from and ridden off the puck, and rely on on the other four to be supporting, as a team, they'll be more successful.

Yup, another clearout gone bad, happened all night. They stab at the puck instead of playing the body, watch guys go by them.

Typical! This team is so predictable. Lose close games . Red has no ability to motivate a team to close out tight games. He and they, SUCK! I cant handle the losing anymore.

Red has to learn how to start reading his players and stop just having favorites, who are IMO just not coming through in the clutch. He has other players on the team who are playing their hearts out for him. and he is wearing blinders and just doesn't see it.

This season Maine has taken a lead at the Gut 8 times. The third period of tonight's game was the first time they held onto that lead.

Admire optimism, but I ve been doin that for years now. Nothing changes, we lose tight critical games in heartbreaking fashion. A good coach should be able to pull out 50 % of tight games against a better team when we have a lead late in a game, and we consistently cough those games up.

IMO overplays Shores line and gives too much time to 4th line.

I'm so disappointed... we had this game. We skated with them, were even territorially.... It's hard to tell if the goalies were playing good or just no scoring ability exhibited by both teams. The third goal was a good shot but geez, sometimes your goalie needs to make a tough save and it seems like we haven't had that all year. Red seems to go with the same guys during crunch time, with the same results. I could go on but I won't, so gd disappointed.....

You'd think he'd learn by mistakes?

Reverse that. Providence is the 2-seed by virtue of their 13 wins in conference play vs Boston College's 12.
If Maine and UMA win Maine plays #3 BC; if Maine and ND win Maine plays #2 Providence.

Reverse that. Providence is the 2-seed by virtue of their 13 wins in conference play vs Boston College's 12.
If Maine and UMA win Maine plays #3 BC; if Maine and ND win Maine plays #2 Providence.

As for Pecararo, after hearing from many people I think I know what happened but I'm not going to go into details. All I will say is it was off-ice not on-ice and the administration is involved.

It's usually the same recurring incident with our student athletes that university officials and the coaching staffs like to hush up, of breaking into the library after it's closed to study. There's a good reason so many of them make deans list each semester, but it's too bad they have to risk getting caught breaking into the library to be so successful academically, not to mention the loss of sleep that goes with such odd study times...
