Just my opinion, but if you didn't want to say much, you should have stopped after "I'm not going to go into details."

A lot of people are speculating it is an issue with his effort or his reaction to being a healthy scratch earlier this season. It isn't. Speculation that it is isn't fair to him.

Re: Maine Hockey 2014-15 Volume 2: Red's Revenge

It's usually the same recurring incident with our student athletes that university officials and the coaching staffs like to hush up, of breaking into the library after it's closed to study. There's a good reason so many of them make deans list each semester, but it's too bad they have to risk getting caught breaking into the library to be so successful academically, not to mention the loss of sleep that goes with such odd study times...

Yes, having Fogler close so early was a detriment to my studies as well. I have long lobbied for the library to stay open 24/7 but my pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Why would you just let those two dudes stand in front of the crease like that? Put a body on someone. Sheesh.

Re: Maine Hockey 2014-15 Volume 2: Red's Revenge

I can't think of a more appropriate end to Maine's season than losing in overtime.

Same can be said of UVM... more goals given up in 1st and last minute than any team .... ever..(well just seems like it)

Another lost season. Long way till October. Ugh. I'm getting too old to wait too much longer for some happiness with respect to my fandom of Maine hockey. Hopefully within my lifetime Maine will return to respectability. Uggggghhhhhhhh.

Yup, lets not kid ourselves sports fans, they finished the dismal season 2-5. A step backwards. To say next year is a watershed for Red is an understatement.

Agreed. This is all on Red next season. I don't expect miracles, but if they play with the same lazy attitude and make the same bone-headed mistakes.......it might be time to start questioning whether Gendron is the right guy for the job.

I could not disagree more. Red's first full recruiting class comes this fall and it is going to take some time. I think realistically Maine will be in the 6-10 range the next two or three years and hopefully higher after. I like what he has done a lot recruiting but they are not kids who are going to come in and put up 40 or 50 points in a season straightaway.
