When did they install Timmy as the coach of the USA women's team? Wooowwww
Do you suppose the US Women's team coaches and the Russian Men's team coaches are all in a bar tonight tossing 'em back together? Oh, probably not, unless the US coaches got a quick plane to Siberia!:D

But this retroactive penalizing and suspending players for calls that were never made during the game, is bullchit. If the refs were any decent, then they would have done what you say. But since they suck so bad, this is what we end up with.

It. doesn't. matter. that. there. was. no. call. made. during. the. game.

You can't make a call if you don't see something, hence the need for review after the fact. And just because it wasn't seen doesn't mean it shouldn't be reviewed/doesn't mean Lomberg wasn't deserving of a suspension. The league reviewed the play and deemed it suspension worthy. Happens all the time in the NHL. Whether or not a call was made on the ice is irrelevant. Simple as that. Isn't the first time it's happened in the league, won't be the last.

Maybe they can go back and review goals scored or not scored, and maybe change the outcome of some BC games?

Smart kid! :D

Not sure what happened with NU's disallowed goal, but good thing it was disallowed. This would have been a hard-fought "L"

With the way both Ouellette and Witt have played this year it was surprising to see a 4-4 tie didn't expect that many goals. Seems like a lost opportunity though scoring 4 goals on the road against the goalie with the number 1 save percentage in the country.
