Re: Maine Black Bears 2010 - 2011

Maybe so, but who was smoking something when they gave UMass Lowell a vote this week?!?!?!

They got the snot kicked out of them by the only ranked opponent they've played.

The only other point garnering team from this week's polls they've played (Northeastern) beat them 3-1.

They have recorded 0 wins in regulation, and tied two other completely unranked teams.

How does this team qualify as someone's #20?

Well, according to the RPI/PWR Maine is 0-1-2 because the games against NoDak and Lowell are too worth too little to be counted. :p

Yes, one recruit with his parents. Would you sign if you were a recruit after being in that environment for two games? No need to answer.

Also, this from FightingSioux.com
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke and New Jersey Devils director of scouting David Conte were among those in attendance ... Former Sioux Justin Duberman was also at the game.

I wonder how Amestoy's elbow infection is doing, and if the lines are going to look the same on Saturday.

Re: Maine Black Bears 2010 - 2011

On a different note from the game of hockey...whatever became of the skating Lady Black Bear Cheer-Leaders on the ice..?

Re: Maine Black Bears 2010 - 2011

We're hunting wabbits.

Will be interesting to see if Tim changes the lines up again...

I would keep the top 2 lines going. seems like 3 and 4 could be shuffled a bit. like to see some of the young guys get some ice.

hope the guys are ready to go. with only one game, gotta put it all on the line.

Sirman in goal?, I think the biggest question is can our goalies handle a hostile environment, we'll find out the next 2 weeks. AFter last year Sirman will have to prove me wrong

According to Rachel Lenzi's blog in the PPH Amestoy now has an injured his shoulder in practice and will be unavailable for up to 3 weeks, Andersson has a lower body injury and is a ?. Corkum and Pryor have not practiced this week due to illnesses. If Andersson does not go it means Swavely is likely to be the only other freshmen in the line-up along with Anthoine!
