Maine at Lowell, 11/9 & 11/10

Re: Maine at Lowell, 11/9 & 11/10

Lowell needs to step up and a make a statement this weekend. I think anything less than 4 points against a very weak Maine is unacceptable for a team expecting a return to the NCAAs. Really hoping to see a lot more goal production at the Tsongas this weekend. One goal in two games was brutal to watch.

agree, you guys have to take 4 points here, IMO

Re: Maine at Lowell, 11/9 & 11/10

The break couldn't have come at a better time. Hopefully Lowell comes out ****ed off and immediately takes it to Maine after a long bus ride down. 4 points would be a nice momentum gainer with 5 of the next 6 games coming against HE opponents.

I expect Maine to come out hard. Especially with the fact Whiteheads job is in jeopardy. Splitski to quiet the boo birds for a week.

Re: Maine at Lowell, 11/9 & 11/10

Today I'm traveling to Lowell so here is my brief weekend preview.

If Martin Ouellette plays I give Maine a chance. Sullivan's confidence is completely shot. Another forward may be joining the ranks of the walking wounded today, which would greatly diminish Maine's already dim chances. If Lowell doesn't take at least three points this weekend they have major problems too.

Higgins is a game time decision.

I'll be at the Beerworks for pregame tonight and tomorrow. Will be in a powder blue fleece and a 2011 Frozen Four hat with a Hobey Baker pin.

We were looking for you this evening. What section are you sitting in Saturday?

Tonight's game was ugly with a capital U. Not sure I can say anything more about the game.

BTW: Section 107 at Tsongas is the best!

I'll be at the Beerworks tomorrow - meeting les and lil for dinner - hopefully to celebrate his XC win! I'll be front row in 119 tomorrow night.

A win is a win, got the monkey off their back. See what happens when you rediscover how to crash the net.

We had a Riley Wetmore sighting. Now if someone could find Scott Wilson and Terrance Wallin, maybe we'll start to get going finally.

McGrath is going to be really fun to watch over the next few years. Drive, hustle, grit, determination...he's our little pest but not in a scumbag Joey Diamond-type dirty way.

Got 2 goals tonight, let's try for 3 or 4 tomorrow night.

Hence my screenname...... he was noticable even in the preseason game. Noted at the time that he loves to try to do things like a big guy in front of the net, kind of a Brad Marchaund in Lowell !
And definitely not a #39 in Baby Blue.

There you go again...showing that you really are a SCUMBAG yourself.
