He's very good player who can quarterback any teams power-play. He's the type of d-man that brings offence from the point. He is missed by this years team. And his defense was a whole lot better then some make him sound.20 pts as a soph? Seems good to me. Tough loss. Wish him the best if the stuff last fall was really personal challenges

No biggie. He's just as expendable as is most of the D.
This entire team is under-recruited.
Don't know the all's to it but heard from one that usually has it down pat and etched in stone, either way for some reason or reasons.....it's a lost for Maine on the ice.Yes. But he also was bigger than the team in his very sophmoric brain.![]()
+1....and you can bet the Red Wings want him preparing for his chance later....they are a Organization that value there Draft Picks and usually never rush them before they are ready. Hopefully he has his head together and makes the best of it. All up to him now.I disagree, it was a big loss, last year at several games I went to he was often the best player on the ice.
Whatever his reason for leaving, Merrimack will be closer for him and hope things go well.

He's gone and that's/that with former #2. I have moved on from it when it was reported and from whom I spoke to on the issue. It was reported by Throckmorton that he had academic issues.
Now, I am sure we should all engage in a conversation that justifies him still being at Maine... or else we don't.![]()

Just shaking my head at scores from last night. ASU beats BC, North Dakota loses Canisius etc down the line
Parity..? Or just those teams are not stacked like years past...in any event good for the game to see other teams beat up on the top programs. This year's Final Four and Winner could be a wild card team that most of us would have laughed at being there or even winning it all. Myself I think it's great for the College game...I guess they call it HOPE. Maybe Maine should subscribe to it...Just shaking my head at scores from last night. I couldn’t disagree more. Look at how much attendance and interest have declined in recent times. Parity and the decline of the traditionally strong programs is killing the game.
I understand your point and IF you read into what I said...I had Parity in a ?-mark...and IF the two teams of BC/N.Dak had less then stellar teams like the past this season...for the results we are seeing....I don't believe parity happens every year but once in a while it livens the college ranks to a point. And as for attendance, the last 10 years attendance for a high percentage of college teams have been in decline. Remember college hockey has a smaller special group that follows it compared to the high profile football & b-ball followers.I couldn’t disagree more. I hear you and understand you point.Despite the common media narratives and what you may think, I believe that Drew is right. Look at why the NBA is still thriving, despite everyone knowing who's going to win the title before the season even begins. People are intrigued by the best, they want to see dominance and watch the major titans and see of they go down. Parity is probably not a formula for success, as strange as it may sound.
