0-10 on the PP this season. Putting on a show TIMMAY

This what truly bad teams do - they generate numerous scoring chances and still don't score. Oops, whats that a goal? For Me.? This can't be true. They should review it!

Re: Maine 2012 - The Good, the Bad, or the Ugly??

3 goals in less than 3 minutes after playing almost 1.5 hours without a goal.

TW will tell them to much offense, pull the reins in............protect that one goal lead.........TRAP...........on your heals
boring hockey........ even NBC bounced the game

Re: Maine 2012 - The Good, the Bad, or the Ugly??

Almost a disaster...........Army won 4 games last year...............

4-3 Maine now, Hutton with the goal

Hutton had a nice blast through traffic right after Pryor was hit into the boards and came off, apparently injuring his left shoulder
He got worked on by the trainer and came right back out... Then avoided hitting the opponents

Good win
Way to come back!
When was the last time Maine won after being down 2-0?
At least that is something good to take away from this weekend

Kyle Beattie told Dan during the first intermission that Maine would score 3-4 goals and win. Good call.

Re: Maine 2012 - The Good, the Bad, or the Ugly??

It's been a big enough sample to evaluate, and clearly TW is not the man for the job at Maine. I'll have no problem at all with him being fired, and the sooner the better, while Maine still has enough (inexplicable) cache left them to attract any talent whatsoever. (It amazes me that some recruits still refer to a Maine tradition of excellence that's been ancient history for a long while now.)

I will say that I like the Sophomores and Freshman pretty well... Thing is, they should not be leading this team, but rather developing under the wings of the older guys.

Sully looked OK v. ND, and the D didn't embarrass themselves. There is some foundation upon which to build, possibly.

I think that a different coach might actually get this crew to play over .500, next year, but I'm not holding my breath.
