To think that some delusional Maine fan was posting back about a month ago that the team would start to pull it all together and still probably finish with 15-20 wins, LOL. At this point I would say 10 wins would be a stretch.

didn't watch but, the box score has him with 7 shots. the next closest had 3. they all shot 0% though.

Had a chance to really sit down and watch Maine tonight. I knew it was bad but didn't think it was this bad.

The first 3 minutes of the game were a coathanger special - I've never seen anything like that before. I don't think while I watched the game (missed some parts of the first) I saw any quality scoring chances for Maine. Just seemingly no offense there. If anything this lack of offense certainly puts into perspective how very good Flynn and Abbott were.

Just to add some perspective to that, in 07-8 the year Maine missed the Hockey East tournament they were 5-7-2 heading to Florida. Team the next year that finished 8th was 10-5-2.

No home wins.....4 league points. And this is before the annual February swoon. Aye papi.

I've read rumors about it, but is there any serious upswell to can Timmay? As in, could it happen over winter break?

How good Flynn was. He is top ten all time for d1 at Maine and look at his AHL numbers...especially last month.

I don't think that would happen while in season...and it maybe won't happen after the season either...if it were to happen(imo)it would happen after the season...but of late you can't predict what the A.D. has in store. The program with TW is not going to get better as in staying atop with wins anymore...more a roller coaster ride during a 4-5 yr span is most likey. Rebuilding/Rebuilding/.500 Hky/injuries-excuses/NCAA Bid/Rebuilding/etc.

Thing is, they actually played fairly well last night. That first three minutes was brutal, but they weathered it, and played much better as the game went on. A lot better than they had against Vermont. But sadly, this team couldn't score in a Kennebunk Zumba studio.

Thought it pretty telling that when they called the timeout at the end, Corkum was on the bench jawing TIMMAY's ear off about whatever, TIMMAY just stood there nodding, and then gathered the players around to brief them. What, just repeating to them what Corkum told him to do?

I think a lot of that is TIMMAY's coaching. He knows they aren't that good, but he has them sop terrified about making mistakes in the game that they don't play on instinct, they're always second-guessing themselves as to what they should do. It just paralyzes them.
