Refs purpose on ice is to protect players. If they screw up bad enough, then they too should be disciplined.

Joey wins the game in OT, great weekend for him, I don't think he had a penalty? is that a first :). Marty was great in OT, sounded like Lowell had all the chances until Joey came in. Timmay is saving his job for another year at least

Somehow you just knew it would be UMass Low-well that helps Maine get that home loss streak off their back...lol. Yep, Timmay good to go for another year and probably a raise, I mean afterall, Maine wins at Alfond, thats quite a feat, and Tim can take credit for it!:D

Doug Carr had no answer for Joey Diamond. Great moves with the puck by Joey. No penalties this afternoon and I think he went without a penalty on Friday night. Have to check the box score. Ouellette is playing very well. I thought he was the big difference in the game. Two for four on the PP is a huge improvement.

Very happy for the boys (and the long-suffering fans) that Maine got a home-win. I sincerely wondered if that was going to happen.

Maine is looking pretty good of late, especially the young guys, but Tim's teams very rarely put a full season together. I don't see him getting fired after this campaign as of right now, but him being in Orono after next year..? Please, God, no.

Big difference has been the play in Net/Ouellette is playing clutch goaltending,stole the win yesterday with regulation & O.T. saves...finally a win at Home.

It was a pleasure watching the team on the ice at the end of the game. It was as if the entire world was removed from their shoulders. Great moment for the fans too.:) UML is a good team (13th in last poll), and defeating BC twice should give this team some confidence for the remaining games in Hockey East.

And isn't it ironic that Diamond has hurt the team all year........and then finally comes through just in time to save TIMMAY's neck..........yay!:rolleyes:
