I think the Roquettes are more annoying than the Truth Squad posters.
I think you're correct.

Enjoy the off season, Whittenettes
They may or may not know just how many are involved. It wouldn't surprise if they are including Aldridge in that number of 6 even though he left of his own accord. I've thought for some time that Gorowksy was no longer going to be among the new guys in the Fall. They may be counting him also in that number even though he's never officially been a Laker. How does anyone know that 6 players are being cut ? I believe it must happen to bring in the number of recruits they have listed for next season but still to actually know it makes me wonder whom is being cut and how do you know .
I think it's more of a case where that is becoming increasingly common with college coaching changes. Not unique to the Lakers situation. That is a lot of seemingly inside information for an outsider trolling. Curious.
Good luck to the two WCHA teams earning a spot in the 16-team NCAA tournament.
Minnesota State is the overall #1 seed in the tourney. It will take on Rochester (RIT) next Saturday in South Bend. If it wins, it will take on the Omaha/Harvard winner on Sunday.
Michigan Tech plays South Dakota State on Friday in North Dakota. If the Huskies win, they play the winner of #2 North Dakota/Quinnipiac.
The other top seeds are #3 Boston U. and #4 Miami (OH).
Michigan Tech has been the story this season and Mel and the new coaching staff has done an amazing job this year. Best of luck to the Huskies in the NCAA's.
For anyone mad about being behind UAH, note that Whitten is doing the exact same thing that Corbett did here last year minus a lot of carping about what was done. That worked out okay for us this year, and we didn't have a definitive #1 until November. You know who yours is now. Count your blessings. Unless you're Dunbar, you're not getting Whitten fired for three or four years. You can either be part of the problem or a part of the solution. All I know is that my opinion of the LSSU fanbase is absolutely deplorable because of the acts of the few. Do you really want your school to be the laughingstock that you fear that it is? Really? Keep it up.

There are a number of insightful, informative, intelligent posters in this thread. But then there is a big bucket of sludge from several (or is it one with many screen names) who add nothing of value at any point.
Actually all of their top scorers were upperclassmen. Their top freshmen scorer was in 8th place on their scoring stats.Mel made a huge leap this year compared to last, winning 15 more games and counting.
Must have been all the things they added, not subtracted of course![]()
Bill you have the finger on the pulse, yet again, of all things Laker Hockey. Thanks for sharing this information.
Hans is a great player who will fit in well with the team and coaches in Huntsville. We will miss him at Lake State, but you certainly can't blame the young man one bit for his decision. He was fortunate to have teammates experience the coaching dynamics at Lake State and likely made a very wise choice.
Best of luck Hans. I wonder if there will be others?
