I just got off a long phone call where a disturbing issue was brought to my attention. I was told that there is a group that didn't want Joey Shawhan interviewed knowing that it would look extremely bad for Kris Dunbar. I was under the impression that Kris Dunbar made the decision as to who would be vetted and the committee would handle the interviews. I have been told the committee picked who would be interviewed. My intent was to ask MichiganMidge if this is what was meant when she said "the implosion begins". Is this why you all backed off Kris knowing if this process was botched you would get what you wanted? Please answer.

Comley is in charge plain and simple. Dunbar doesn't care about Laker hockey and/or she's afraid of Comley. Whichever you believe, she's not at the helm of this whole fiasco, and I believe it's going to end badly for her!

Given that Joe Shawhan is as popular in the Soo as he is, are any of you Joe Shawhan fans close enough friends with him to know if he even wanted to leave Marquette and move back to the Soo for the Lakers coaching job?

Agreed. He/she is just trolling, making things up and stating it as fact. The trolls are out in full force right now and very few posts have any truth or substance.

Hey Hammer I'm still wondering what made you state in the past Fogarty would never take the Laker job and if it was a fact you knew or your own opinion. Sinse he has applied I just want to know if something changed for him and what that may be to consider going after the job.

Not looking to argue either just curious.

How about you quit putting bullsh## out like its fact. There is a lot of good info in this group. Wading through your steaming pile makes it much less enjoyable in reading it. Then again, that's probably your goal.

At this point, let's just say that it's my well-educated guess. You can read into that however you wish.

EDIT: I'm hoping you're not expecting me to reveal how and where I get my info from. That's simply not going to happen.

No Hammer not at all am I expecting you to reveal what you do not want to. I have noticed in the past when Fogarty was on someone's wish list to coach here you shot it down with what seemed like concrete fact. Now that he did apply I being curious just wanted to see what you were (willing) to offer on the subject. I too have avenues to get certain info so I understand you not wanting to divulge if you don't want to.

There could be the fact that he applied but his interest won't be as strong if they don't give him the resources necessary to win.

Ron Fogarty has served as a division 1 assiatant for a couple teams and I am pretty sure he would love to get back to division 1 as a head coach somewhere.
