LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

Here's the video. If you've seen it already, look at it again. I don't have a rooting interest. It looks to me like Lain hit Berkle in the head with his outstretched elbow. You all be the judge.

Shaky evidence to say the least. And if it did show Lain going to the young ladies head the league would have added discipline to him. They hate him.

As fast as the BG kid went down, there must have been a second shooter on the grassy knoll

Re: LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

At least one team playing tonight wanted the win and it wasn't Lake State.

Game 3 tomorrow night do or die. Lakers played some sloppy hockey, especially in their own end. Murdock was kind of shaky and coughed up some bad rebounds. I'm 99 percent sure we'll see Kaps starting in net tomorrow.

I think everyone was hoping Campbell would add some spark to the offense when he came back and after 8 games he has scored a total of zero goals. If this were the start of the season and 8 games in and no goals from him,we would all be asking what happen to his offense with this team . Campbell should be fresh and in great shape aches and pain wise and yet he seems to not able to locate the back of the net as well .

I see the biggest danger tonight being the Laker coaching staff getting out coached again by the Bowling Green coaching staff. Bowling Green just walked all over the Lakers last night and I give the Bowling Green staff all the credit for getting their players in game mode and having a better game plan and players who actually came to play.

So, you are saying in Friday night's game, it was simply that Roque and his staff had his players better prepared and ready to play more than the Bowling Green coaching staff? The team with the better coaching staff will win tonight?

Pretty much which coaching staff has it's team up and ready to play . You got it . Thanks for the input .

Notre Dame lost 12 games this year. Jeff Jackson didn't have them ready to play those 12 nights?

I love fans who are happy with very little success . Roque needs to be gone . Here is a bit of fortune telling for you on next season . Weaker league and the Lakers will be picked to finish 8th to 10th and that includes Alabama Huntsville possibly being picked to finish higher than Lake State.

Re: LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

Hopefully this will be the last game that Roque coaches at Lake Superior. Last season he said numerous times that this years team should have a chance to get to the NCAA tournament, and instead they make a first round exit.

Re: LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

Here is the problem already for next season. The vast majority will be back and this vast majority got worse as the second half of the season played out. Unless most quit and they recruit a new team, including coaches, the same will be the story next year. A long season with very little success. Marble saw what has been happening for the last few years and changed his mind playing at Lake State and I don't blame the guy.

3dognight..Do you really think this team can be fixed in the next 5 years ?

Re: LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

Roque has been rotating Kapalka and Murdock most of the season. I don't think anyone expected him to change now.

I can understand playing both in the regular season and even in the playoffs but coming off a shut out in the playoffs I dont see why he would rotate.

Re: LSSU Laker Hockey 2012-2013, Part 2

Over the past few seasons, I've begun to wonder how much confidence the guys have in Roque as head coach and how much respect they have for him. I don't live in the Soo and don't know what the sentiment there is, but I have to admit that I've begun to consider that possibility.
