Meat for the wolves, So got some inside info since the kings at the top of the hill have developed a reputation for not communicating with the rest the peasants of the laker world, construction on the arena will not start till spring of 2014 or later. It seems that the individual that is contributing to the arena has to get his/her paperwork in order to move such a large sum of money that will comply with Federal, State, Local and National NCAA rules and regulations. Source is from an individual who lives, breathes and participates in the community in an elected position. Myself, I have been a part of one of the organizations on campus and have gotten a different story each time the kings were asked about the status of the project. My gut is that the kings have somehow f upped the deal and I think this project does not get done, strictly my opinion......if you need further proof of how the kings don't share or play nice, the current fundraising that is going on for the South Hall Project needs to raise $3mil +, does anyone know how much has been raised to date, nothing posted on the website, nothing communicated to the community of laker alumns and faithful or the the community at large, i.e. the peasants of laker world. The South Hall project was approved to move forward "with the hopes" of collecting the $3mil but if the does not happen then a loan will be taken out to finance the rest. Sound familiar, it should, as this is following the same path that was done to build the white elephant building on campus, the fine arts center. Nothing fine about it. Enjoy the tenderloin, sorry chuck roast, laker peasants......
