You are correct that fans from both teams may have took some unwarranted jabs, all I'm saying is your rationale isn't rational.
Alienate fans from both sides? Really, by stating I find your logic faulty that alienates all the UVM fans too? hmph......well so be it I guess. THought us catamount fans had a bit thicker skin then that.

Ya from the guy that was ranting up and down how bad UVM sucks after they lost to ME.....ABANDON SHIP !!! Good grief. Look at the freaking post and tell me that using the absurd rankings to show that UML and UVM fans were wrong preseason actually makes sense ??? Which doesn't even really matter, preseason is all trash talk anyways.

Good news for Vermont, the Burlington Free Press reports that Justin Milo has been cleared by the medical staff to return to the lineup.

I for one am looking forward to seeing these teams play.
Lowell has strong talent this year, and should be formidable. I know that this team has few weaknesses, they play well as a team, and can finish when given the opportunity.
Vermont often plays to the level of it's opponent. This has been the biggest concern year over year for this team. Also, what should have been it's strength has not proved to be the past two weekends (think Defense).
If UVM can keep itself out of the penallty box, play aggressive defense, and be opportunistic, it should be a good game. If they take more foolish penalties, I think the Gut will be quiet and Lowell beats them by 2.
Early season BIG game in my opinion.
