LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

So are Claire and Shannon too big of stars to come back for just the plane ride? Michelle Rodriguez, the other chick that got the DUI and Mr. Eko too?

Claire's name was in the opening credits, so I am thinking we might see her soon.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

So the Big Bad is the smoke monster? Can't wait to hear the story behind this.

Re: Smoke monster

I missed something last season but my sister informed me that the SM can take the shape of a dead person ie Locke, Christian etc. But who is the actual being behind it? Since Jacob died, there has to be someone higher up than him to begin with, right? in some kind of crazy twist I want it to be Desmond, but that's unlikely. But where did he disappear to tonight?

Also, I wonder what reality is real time. On the plane in LA etc or on the island?

This show has screwed with my head so much I can't even handle it anymore...

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

my WAG guess here is this, that the Bomb somehow split the timelines between what happens as if the bomb never went off, and what happens if the flight never crashes on the Island. And I think that somehow, its all going to come together in the end, but I don't have the foggest idea how right now. All I know is that we're all going to have to keep watching.

Desmond only showed up on the plane when the plane was over the area where the island should be.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

But Only Jack saw him, so who knows if Desmond was really on the plane.

well, Jack asked Rose where he went, she said they were sleeping, but didn't say they hadn't seen a man there before....or act that way...

this whole thing is going to make my head hurt by May...again!

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

I'm also wondering if Smoke Monster on the Island has something to do with Jack's Dad Body being MIA in the Non-crashed timeline.
Yeah, I think the island has something to do with that.

The other thing I found odd was that some of the original losties were not on the plane this time, such as Shannon....Boone said said she she stayed there.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

But more changed than just the plane crashing...

Hugo says he is the luckiest person in the world,

Arzt recognized Hugo as the CEO of Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack from a commercial,

Shannon isn't on the plane at all, she stays in Sydney...

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Yeah, I think the island has something to do with that.

Also Hurley mentioned that he was extremely lucky, and Locke said he DID go on the walkabout....

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

I also found it interesting that Charlie said something along the lines of "I was supposed to die"

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

Yeah, I'm not going to get too wrapped up in all of the little details right now, as hopefully it all makes sense at the end, which we all should expect. Anyways, I think we're all probably going to want to watch the whole series over again after the finale just so that you can make sense out of all of the little details.

Whatever, you know that there will be some kind of cliffhanger that we will never know the answer to at the end of this series!

I dunno, I think we'll know more than we assume we'll know at this point :p Hell, i didn't expect to find out what was in the guitar case until the very end ;)

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

I agree that the number of small details is pretty overwheming at this point.

RE- the smoke moster- I think that's the guy in black we saw talking with Jacob when the Black Rock was about to land on the island. And I'm pretty sure that it's he who is using Locke's apperance at the moment. As said in the past, the dead have appeared a few time before- so I would trace it to him. Interesting that he takes credit for the monster.

That plane ride was odd. Some people had no change to their lives, others were very different. Oh, as for the time split, do recall they showed the island in THAT time/space as very much underwater. Did the island sink when the bomb went off? Oh, and I thought Jin wasn't going to go to the US originally- it was part of her escape- interesting that he was bringing in an expensive watch + oodles of money (undeclared).

OTOH, it will be interesting to see the full meaning of Juliet's "It worked" message. (I'm sad to see her lost so quickly, but I'm sure managing V and Lost was just too much work for her.)

This upcoming confontation should be interesting. The Locke thing vs. everyone else. All the people who he has with them are either others or plane crash people. Sun and Jin are actually in the same time, again.

Wow, so many details to tie up, so little time.

Re: LOST Season 6 -- All Good Things Must Come To An End

I'm not sure I like the flash sideways. It diminishes the angst when one of the losties is in peril. "It's okay if this Kate dies, the one in LA will be okay." Unless that isn't the case. And where are Rose and Bernard in the island reality?

I also thought having yet another hidden group of people on the island at this late date, with all that has happened, seemed a bit 24ish.

:( about Juliet. :) about Claire. (And that's another answer we had better get. What happened to her on the island.)

Sayid!

and how much fun is Terry O'Quinn having? Talk about an awesome gig.

Jin and Sun were both originally going to LA, but Sun was going to walk out of the terminal in Sydney and leave him, until the scene when he shows her the flower and smiles at her. They were going to LA to deliver the watch to an associate of Mr. Paik's, the same watch that Michael finds in season 1 when Jin beats the crap out of him.

My guess is that if you die on the island, you'll soon die in the alternate reality, example: Charlie is dead on the island, he almost died on the plane and after Jack saved him Charlie said he was supposed to die. I'm guessing that we'll see Claire, Boone, Locke, etc. die or repeatedly saved in reality where the plane doesn't crash. It is also possible that if the people that are currently alive on the island die, they were return to the other consciousness, thus Juliet saying "It worked" after she died. This doesn't change the idea that those that died previously in the show will soon die in the alternate reality.
