Speaking of stuff being old and overused....has that old bastard, that they roll out every game at the Kohl, just so they can circumvent the sign rule, died yet?

No, but Tech always tries REALLY hard to get him to keel over from overexertion.

tGulk and I already paid a visit to the Wisconsin team during their evening skate to ask them:

-Why they hate the environment?
-How was their bus ride?
-I mean, how was their flight?
-Where is Thurber?

They seemed to enjoy that last one...

Wisconsin has more wins when they don't score first then Mich. tech has when they do score first?!?!?!?!?!?! Actually Wisconsin has more wins when they don't score first then Tech has all year??????

Typical Badger arrogance..... It's no wonder nobody in the WCHA cares for you!

I wonder if Eaves tells his potential recruits that they'll have no problem getting into the bars on State Street, along with telling them they'll never have to ride the bus anywhere.

Why wouldn't he?

The Wisconsin men’s hockey team (19-8-4, 14-7-3 WCHA) will head north to Houghton, Mich., this weekend to battle the Michigan Tech Huskies (5-24-1, 4-20-0 WCHA) in UW’s second-to-last conference series of the regular season.

The No. 3 Badgers got the best of the Huskies twice already this season, outscoring Michigan Tech, 14-2, in a series sweep in December at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin holds the all-time series lead, boasting a 92-44-8 edge over MTU. Wisconsin is unbeaten in its last seven matchups against the Huskies (6-0-1).

The Badgers need just one point in its final four games to clinch home ice for the first round of the WCHA playoffs. The UW currently sits alone at third place in the conference with 31 points. Denver leads the WCHA with 36 points, and St. Cloud State follows the Pioneers with 33 points. However, the Badgers have played two fewer league games than SCSU, so Wisconsin can pass them with at least three points this weekend.

On the bright side, they let the de-commits keep their team issued fake ID.

De-commits? You mean the players they signed previously, then proceed to tell them not to bother to show up at the start of the season.
