Norwich up 3-0 on UNE after one. 2PPG. The non-PPG was scored just after a penalty expired. Not happy with the new video because there's no time clock showing. Resolution is good, but the lack of a clock is an annoyance.

At the end of the first in Plattsburgh, it is no score.

SOG: Cards 8 - Geneseo 5

Second period will see the Cards on a 1:27 power play.

All those penalties were honest-to-God legit! UNE has to be a whole lot smarter in their game.

Rome wasn't built in a day. We're on a budget (that is significantly less than what we were paying NSN) and we're at it for the year purchasing our start up equipment. We can get the clock on there with purchasing a score bot, but it will cost $1K. If someone would like to make a donation, we can make the clock happen tomorrow for the rest of hockey season. :)

We have it in the budget for next year to get a scorebot for the gym, sabine and arena. But we ran out of money for this year.
 
After 2 periods in the Stafford, Geneseo leads 1-0 on nice power play goal, though it was poor call.

There's always money available if it is a priority. We just had the big M&G challenge which (apparently) the LaCrosse program won. Where did/does the hockey contributions go?

To the hockey budget...not athletic communications. Once again, we'd love to take donations for a score bot if its that much of an annoyance for people.

Point totally owned the period. SOG now 14-13 Sp

SNC taking dumb penalties. The worst was with :01.3 left, when Cholak hit a Pointer in the head. It was just a clearing play in front of the SP goalie. Just stupid. A deserved 5;00 major and DQ. So Point has 4:59 of a major to start the third

SNC lucky it’s tied.

Norwich budgets are always "interesting." Been there, dealt with that. I don't have a spare kilobuck, wish I did, so I will have to resort to using my stopwatch to guesstimate the remaining time.

Well earned win for Point. They outlplayed SNC, and SNC helped with multiple dumb penalties.

So you’re paying less than previously, but can’t provide the same service? The stream was good on my phone, no clock was annoying. We could raise a grand in 20 minutes through the alumni group, this is a poor excuse. Very lame for a university with a $175M endowment.

Hockey is the flagship sport, treat it as such. Tony can find the $.

Our department doesn’t fall under athletics. If anyone would like to further discuss this, you know my contact information. It’s easily accessible. The fact that everyone is upset we made an adjustment to provide a better picture quality for less money is mind boggling though.

Exactly, when I read tge initial post, I felt Charlie shacking his head. :(

Certainly we don't live in a perfect world, but $1K is little more than pocket change, even in my little world.

And I also understand fairness to all - but somethings effect all - and reputation is one of them.

I agree, there is no excuse.

I've been watching the football games all year without a clock, and the clock arguably dictates the game more in football than in hockey. And yeah, it's a little annoying, but it's not THAT big of a deal.
