David Hogg removed from his dnc role after a progressive native woman from OK filed a complaint that too many men were selected violating a gender diversity rule .
Hogg is choosing to not run again.

This reminds me of a story:

So years ago the district was looking for a new program to use for something dealing with the schools. It was down to two one that is perfect and super efficient and helpful and a little bit cheaper. The other was more expensive, harder to use and not well liked. They obviously voted for the better program. A Native Person vetoed it because it was named after a sacred animal (I honestly want to say an Owl) in her Tribe's legacy and it bothered her. MDE (Minnesota Department of Ed) agreed and so everyone was stuck with a program that was a waste of time and money...which has caused nothing but issues.

Not a knock on Native People...but its not like the program was called "Redskins" or "Sioux" or something. It was Owl.

The David Hogg thing is beyond a mistake. They are using the diversity angle as an excuse because they know their real reason was unpopular when it was announced. Primaries are important and the two things the Dems should definitely do in '26 is:

1) Have someone running for every position that is open no matter where or how small. (especially stuff like Sheriff)

2) Should have challengers to all Dems.

Even if the challenges fail, it is better to have the incumbents be seasoned and deal with actual issues. Otherwise they stick to bs Centrist talking points and people stop caring.

Its because the DFL held and WI went Red even though Ben is the reason WI has a Blue Governor and was instrumental in the WiSC going Progressive.

Ken still pushes Frey as a good mayor of Minneapolis...that says it all.
